cossie management on ERST

Default cossie management on ERST

i been running cossie management on my ERST for 3years and have just now seen that most of the guys running cossie management still use the std rst Fuel Accumulator but when i did my cossie management on my car i removed the Fuel Accumulator
could this be problem

If it could be a problem, then Cossies would run one as standard....

i have been running with out the Fuel Accumulator since i have done the cossie management in 2002
i was just wondering

excuse my ignorance but what does the fuel accumulator do ?

why take it off?

why leave it on?

As i understand it. On the standard MFI car, it keeps the fuel pressure constant, as the fuel pump pulses when its pumping the fuel, which on a MFI engine would seriuosly disrupt the fueling as the injectors used are pressure injectors and not electronic pulse like EFI.

That why i have kept mine, just in case it causes any fluctuations in pressure, cant hurt really.
