Default fuel pump??????

my turbo is rotton so im gonna put the engine into an xr31 till i can find a good shell and save some money. the only part in unsure on is weather or not i need to change the feul tank and fuel pump. any help would b great.

XR3i tank and pump are the same as RST mate

According to my info the RST S2 pump can deliver a higher flowrate than a XR3i pump.....

Just look at the picture..........


(K-Jetronic is XR3i; KE-Jetronic is RST)

The XR3i pump will work just fine though but could become a weak link when there is some tuning involved!

Fuel tank is the same!

I have always been under the assumption that S1 and both mk3 and mk4 XR3i:s share the same pump, but the S2 has a beefier unit equivalent to the pumps used in Cossies.
