Default Boost Monkeys Still Trading?

Does anyone know if Boost Monkeys are still trading, I've tried emailing them, sending them messages on Facebook and writing on their Facebook wall but had no reply?
Thanks in advance

I passed the yard on Saturday and the place looked empty and all the advertising had gone.

Rich87, I did manage to get in touch with him so I ordered an ecu off their website. I messaged them since and got a reply then messaged again and got no reply. It's been 12 days since I messaged them without a reply and nearly a month since I ordered my ecu

Ah understand companies are bizy but that's just poor...if he's doing well great employ an IT person or something

A few companies that get a lot of mentioning and got loads of start up bizness from here seem to have gone that way...

For 2 parts I ordered for my s2 rebuild ,..carbon roof and ecu took over a year to finally be in my hands....

Cmon guys remember your core buyers here aswell as the contract work ...

Contracts come and go private sector then must be looked after imo

No rich I don't have a contact number. I've raised a dispute with PayPal now. I didn't want to but felt I had no other choice. I sent the messages through Facebook too so I know they've read them

Hi Chaps,

Firstly I want to make a massive apology to all the people that have been trying to contact me recently. It must be incredibly annoying.

Although this is absolutely no excuse, we recently had our first baby, he's nearly 4 months old and a dude, but because I'm an idiot I'm moving house, finishing the last few months of a degree, doing a day job and trying to run Boostmonkeys, I'm winning in some areas and failing in others as you can probably tell.

BoostMonkeys is most definently still trading, we are busier than ever but sadly I am a month behind on emails and 2 weeks behind on orders.

When I first started BoostMonkeys I wanted to give the best possible customer service that I knew how, and largely I think we did. Fair prices and a friendly, efficient service. I am incredibly frustrated and upset that recently I have been unable to provide that same service. The only good news is that this is temporary, this summer will see a lot of my time returned which will mean Boostmonkeys will have a very big (and needed) overhaul.

We would also like to find an IT savvy, like minded car nut to join the company. Sadly this is harder than it sounds.

PM me, and I will send any one who needs it my mobile number currently this is THE best way to contact me. Half of the late orders went out last week, the other half go out this week which will mean no order back log giving me some breathing space to reply to the huge list of emails.

Thanks once again to all of our customers and friends who have been incredibly patient with us recently.

All the best

Hi Dan,

I'm a bit sad that you haven't heard back on facebook. This is Mike's (the other Boostmonkey) responsibility and he should have been reply to messages and posts! I will be having a chat with him about this.

In the mean time, if your ecu didn't ship last Monday it will ship with the next two days.

Apologies again for such rubbish service. If you would like to cancel your order thats also fine, just let me know and I will issue a full refund.

All the very best

Absolutely! Couldn't agree more.

This is something we desperately need to sort out. We have in the last week spoken with several companies regarding getting a proper office line so that people can also call us.

I am incredibly lucky with regard to the type of customer we have largely had to date, many of our customers have turned into friends and people that I enjoy meeting and having a chat with. Letting people who you genuinely like down like this sucks - this will be fixed very soon.

Rob,
Thanks for your reply Rob, I still want to continue with the order, I was just getting concerned with the lack of communication. I will close the dispute as soon as the ECU arrives.

Thanks

Boost Monkey's are no longer in business (the decision was made only about a month ago) but Rob will be offering technical support for the next year to existing customers.
No new ECU's are being produced and no stock exists.
It's a decision he didn't take lightly but family commitments come first and BM took up an awful lot of his time, it is a shame as his products where great quality and excellent value for money.

I got my boost monkeys ecu earlier this year with a base map to run my zvh thing fired straight up no issues what so ever, also I had alot of question and rob sent me his number and he answered every question pretty much straight away and told me best air/fuel setup to use with ecu
Such a shame they no longer making them anymore I've had no issues at all with my ecu and can't see why it would break, rob seems like top guy and Ł400 for a baiscally plug and play ecu seems pretty cheap

There was no public announcement as such Mat.

Regarding resale price, if anything the OFAM units may go up as they are NLA and are perfect for people who want a fully featured ECU that plugs straight into your existing EFI loom.... Also remember they are based on MS firmware so there's all the support you could ever need! lol
