Box is out and before i go to rebuild it, I just wondered if this was normal.
The "inner" part of the diff has movement, only a mm id say but i can move it about with my finger (if i put it in the splined inner part where the cv joints would lock in).
Is this normal or is it fucked?

 

Hia, did you ever get to the bottom of this, I've stripped my box and founc the same, I thought I had an issue with the diff bearings as the drive shafts keep leaking oil after changing the seals several times. The play in my diff is more 2-3mm....
