Just rebuilt my engine with BVH, piper, overbore, and a big GRS etc. Been out hunting saxo's today and the temps never went above 2/3 in traffic, well below half when on the move. I have cut the centre of the front bumper, raised the rear of the bonnet and the 2 kenlowes fetch the temps down no probs. Obviousley the front bumper cut has a lot to do with it but it is not to everyones liking. I would recomend 2 fans, also do you know your rad is up to scratch?
My fans previousley cut in when the temps were up past 2/3 so i changed my old fan switch for a new intermotor item, bit keener than original, cuts in at half way point.

First thing with a BIG Intercooler is that the Radiator MUST be either Renewed or Recored. You just cant cheat with it.
Also, I always recommend 2 fans. Mine runs 2 10" Kenlowes and an 82° Thermostat and has NEVER had a cooling issue. Not even a concern.

exhaust/turbo heat wrap and use mainly summer coolant rather than water.
that will also help.

another thing sounds silly is to make sure u have the wiring for the fan the right way round because the fan will suck rather than blow!!,
happended on mine mine ran in the red all week couldnt find what was wrong then realised the fans were sucking!, also i have 2 kenlowes and a 82 thermostat with that water wetter stuff in the coolant and my temps never go above a quarter on the gauge now!!.

6106381 - 82 Degree Sierra Thermostat
7001614 - Cossie 4x4 fan switch - red
With those parts, a good rad, and a good fan or two, you should be OK.

yeah only the bumper needs cuting at the back to fit the fans in. a tight fit. a bit of a pain to put them on. plastic clips go through the intercooler to hold them on. they do look good tho
