Smoking?
My car use to smoke on start up when it was cold, but only for about ten minutes. I did a oil change yesterday, now its smoking like a bitch & a tad longer then 10 minutes, plus the smoke is thicker & sits in the air. Wish i didnt change the oil now. Why is it smoking heavier?? Any idea's. Not a happy chappy!

Its blue. Alot of blue. Just come back from driving it. It seems fine now its warmed up, but i cant drive it like that in the morning. Its a tad & i mean tad over the max. Cant see that making that much oil, seeming it smoked a bit before the oil change. Getting fed up wiv it now. Rings wouldnt do that would it??Valve stems have been changed & put a turbo on it a while ago. Running out of idea's.

well rings would do that but if theyve gone its normally constant smoking! well if its def not overfilled and u got the rite oil in it and it only does it from cold sounds to me like valve stems! were they good valve stems? Good stem oil seals come with a washer that sits under the valve spring and stops them from lifting! cheap ones dont and consequently lift up the valve shaft and leak! normally when ur turbo goes it smokes all the time, on boost or on over run off the throttle!
