Ive got a pair off these on my escort and have noticed the rubbers have split and all the grease have oozed out can the rubbers be brought separately ?

No, they are ruined. I'll buy them for scrap value +50%?

On another note, i think they are actually, try looking for websites that do rose joint parts.

If its the outer part which goes into the hub carrier then i think the balljoint is fixed into the arm, cant remember what the compbrake ones are like.

I'll never understand why they didn't make the ball joint serviceable/replaceable.

Spend Ł200 on nice shiny adjustable arms then have to replace them when the ball joint goes. Ball ache.

The last pair I've just replaced went of the rose joint side, it was squeaking its tits off

We buy packs of ball joint rubber dust seals so you should be able to get ones for them.

Same ones as above Its just the rubber thats split they have grease nipples so a pair of rubber dust seals would make them good again where can you get them

Try e-bay, just search for ball joint dust covers and loads of results come up. Lots of different sizes available so should be able to find something to match what you currently have.

Yes on a set fom mef, I just removed the seal off a spare set I had.

Rob great minds must think alike ordered 2 sets yesterday so I got spare set for next time have contacted comp brake but for price on ebay I wasnt going to grumble

I still need to buy some lower arms for mine so knowing where to get the boots when they split is helpful too.
