Default Adjustable Bias Brake assembly?

Has anyone used or got one of these on their mk3/4 escort? If so what do you think. I need a new servo and master cylinder and have done away with the abs so was looking at getting this. Aparently it bolts in place of your existing servo is this correct? No fettling required?

Anyone? Was seriously thinking of buying this but don't want to waste my money. Would a different servo from another car be a better upgrade?

Got a never used one with cylinders in the shed if you want it, yours for 50 quid. When I looked there's no a lot of other options. Sold my project before using it though

I have considered one of these. I'd have to drive one fitted though before i made my mind up, i like how my pedal feels now i've rebuilt master cylinder but got a Wilwood bias valve fitted to inner wing.

Are those boxes adjustable on the fly?

Yeah I think so mate if they've got a balance bar fitted with a remote bias controller

There isn't a remote cable, least not on my one. Brake bias is best left alone anyway once set

No worries Tom I wasn't after that anyways mate. I agree too on once its set leave it. It only takes one bumpy to get in your car and fiddle with it.

The cable is an optional extra. I have one on mine but haven't used it yet to comment.

Not really. I find in the wet my rears lock quite easily but in the dry i can use the rear discs much more.

Theres nothing wrong with adjustability, especially if you can do it whilst driving to suit your needs.

There is no perfect setup.

Then your default bias is too much rearwards. No axle should ever lock up 'easily' in any condition other than snow or ice.
