Default Cast alloy rocker covers

Was it burtons who used to make the cast alloy rocker covers for turbos? Dont suppose you can find them anymore?

if one was to find one in the shed, what would one want for one? one would also like to see a pic of one. what they look like in comparison to a rs16 jobbie?

That's not the one I've seen, it's polished alloy, smooth, basically a cast rep of the standard item?

Have one fitted to my car too but its powder coated satin black, though im after a standard 90 spec one. As seen in attachments. No idea where it came from though, it'll probably be on one of the many receipts in the file.

There is a kind of baffle in the tube seen on the left, its effectively little holes drilled in the top side of the tube.

I have one on one of my bantams. Dont really like the polished look but it hides the noise from the solid lifters well

Thats a good point, are the steel ones much noisier? I might have to rethink my plans for changing it.

I had noticed mine sounded quite quiet for a solid lifter engine, definitely more noise with the filler cap off. Think i have one rocker which rattles a bit more than the rest too. Can't tell with the cap on.
