Hi there im having trouble fotting the 31 actuator to my rs turbo...iv found the rad is in the way do i have to push the rad forwards or??? Has anyonelse had this problem?

What make -31 is it?

I had a collins one which was pretty chunky and didn't like the small gap between it and the rad as I was unsure on the amount of engine rock.

Its a collins one...i cant get it to seat against the actuator bracket as the rad is in the way...is there any way of moving the rad? How did you fit yours?

I didn't fit it. I offered it up and it was to close to the rad for my liking as they are bigger in diameter than the OEM style ones.

IIRC the radiator doesn't have much movement because of the locating pins at the top? Been years since I fitted my new rad and I honestly can't remember how they fit. Hopefully someone else can shed some light.

Ok thanks ill either see how much play i can get from the rad or buy a different actuator
