Yes mate, there isnt alot of cars out there that havnt been 'fixed' over the years if it is recorded a CAT D or C it will effect the value but to be honest atleast with a CAT D there is no VIC check needed etc so i would fix it and drive it fella !

I've had the car almost 4 years now, it is a solid car but needs attention to exterior. IMO with old cars like these long as its clean and honest it don't matter wats happened as there becoming harder to find a good one.

I brought it as a cat d. Someone smashed the window to try and pinch it, the previous owner claimed on his insurance which made it a cat d. There's not loads tbh, arches, scuttle and petrol cap area. I almost sold for a grand as ppl said the value will be affected quite a lot due to cat d, but I thought its worth more so I've kept it.
