S1 Window Rubbers
My Outside bottom rail window rubbers are Buggered 
Ive tried ford and i hit the usual brick wall, any ideas on other types of cars which i could use and make fit my RS??
Do escort Mk4/5 fit?

Mine are also totally shot and I was planning to head towards Ford this week. Didn't know that they were unavailable. I would presume that the mk4 ones will fit but they might be a bit higher. I bought some Orion mk2 rubbers for my mk1 and the lip sits now some 5mm higher. It doesn't look too nice from the inside. I think I'll have a look at a mk4 Escort in the parking lot.

Jesse the Guy at my local Ford is an Unhelpful Bstard so you may have better luck than me, He did say there was 1 set left in Germany but to be honest i think he was just fobbing me off

Well ive been waiting scince september 03 and they've still not found there way over to the uk.............

Are you takin about the metal backed horizontal weatherstrips on the door???
as from last week, the mk4 door rubbers are still in stock, costing around Ł22 plus twat
Outside ones do vary very slightly from the s1's, but they are the same lenght
With regards to s1 inner wetherstrips, the shape of the door cards are totally different, they can be made to fit with some fettling

being metal backed weatherstrips tho, i suggest you soap/wet up the stip and the door, and slide on carefully
takin them back off afterwards is not an option, been there many a time doing different door glasses at work, if you take them off very carefully, theres alaways goin to be some distortion

There still available from ford. I got some for my one, still easy to get hold of. You were obviously unlucky and got a moody git serving you. There about Ł15.00 each.
