Ofab will make cock all, you can't get custom chips easily and injector choice is rubbish. You'll struggle to get past 220. And at that level the head is wasted.
What being really horrible, this is what we call 'catalogue tuning' at work, and the only thing it does is empty your pockets and fill part suppliers wallets instead

Have it chipped and set up on mfi, properly by someone you knows there stuff, ht racing at brands, or one of the guys over the dart ford in Essex like grove or oddkidd. A well set up 200hp rs turbo will be very quick indeed, you'll enjoy yourself and it'll cost you less than those pistons

For less than a grand: tuned mfi which is not as shit as you think.
Over a grand: chipped efi, worse than mfi in my opinion
Over 2 grand: cossie management or full aftermarket.
Seriously though, I have a lovely power engineering chipped ecu out of my old car. Ill post it to you for 75 quid, then you can take your car to have it installed and set up and you'll be happy as a pig in muck

Well there are a few people on here that have around the 200+bhp cvh's so I would seek their advise.
Its always better to talk to someone who has done it first as they have been through all the trial and error of certain parts etc.
I have to ask though, why do you want a 300bhp cvh rs turbo?

the head flow and the ancilliaries are where your power is achieved.
ie injectors ,ecu and mapping
turbo, headflow , intercooler,
the stuff your on about buying will not gain you the power,
200hp is achievable on standard rods and pistons so why not but the ancilliries first then upgrade internals at a later date,
i hope somebody is building this monster for you

a chipped ecu on mfi with
a decent stage 3 turbo,
exhaust
front mount cooler
a decent spec cam and a little porting should see you around 190-220 which is more than enough and all for under a grand if you spend wisely
followed by a decent setup will surprise you
if keeping mfi best fit some new injectors or get them tested as mfi injectors arent interchangeable
