I think i'v got a problem with my headlights
This is how mine work
With the ign off
side lights on,only the small bulbs come on
With the ign on
side lights on, the small bulbs light up also the main bulbs light up but they are dim.

Is this how there ment to work?
Car is a rs turbo 1988

It's known as "Dim Dip" and was implemented to stop dim people driving around on their sidelights.
