Default 325 bhp on a 1.6 cvh T25 possible?

I may have a cheeky bid on this car for track days but am a bit sceptical about the power claims. It's running a standard exhaust manifold and the restrictive turbo elbow with just a baby T25 and makes me wonder if this power is possible?

Some very nice bits on the car but im also sceptical about the power output!!

Hewland gearbox would be nice though along with the Ohlins setup it does seem to have all the right bits!!

Im suprised no one has snapped it up, if i had the cash if buy it for a track car

Makes it even more impressive that it's running low 52s around Brands Hatch Indy circuit if it has less power than claimed!

It certainly has all the right bits and, with a turbo change, would have the power too

nice car, i think if the lap times are genuine and it can make close to the qouted power its a good buy. a turbo change wouldnt be hard. got hell of a spec on itthough

More like 225 not 325 unless it isn't a T25.

Yeah I have had a good butchers around this car many times. Some very nice little touches. I love the exhaust tunnel and cut out in side skirt.

Mine at 32psi made 311bhp on a modded t3

It does have some lovely bits on it

325 Hp on a T25 LOL what a joke!
I wonder what other B.S. is included with that one.

Horse Power claims are just that - anyone can claim whatever you believe.

The only way a T3 would make over 280 HP is with a far lager compressor (T4 or similar spec) otherwise bullocks.

Have you ever seen this car on a track, i know this car well and its a proper speced car with the best of everything. this car has always run sub 53sec laps to do that you need some serious power.

he used to race it in championship like the BOSS series and toyo cup and this was the front running car with all the cossies etc etc. he has numerous power figures if you ask him. i would believe it running around the 300bhp easy, it made my 400bhp cossie look crap at a test day a few years back and i race myself.

With you on that. Looks an awesome bit of kit, regardless of what power it makes.

Seems I have missed out as it's no longer for sale It would have been superb for track days.... oh well, looks like carrying on with my own project now.

My mate has the mag feature from 2008 and it says the guy has spent £35k on the car over the years, I can believe it too!

Reading the magazine feature, he was beating everything in his class so did a few more things to it and moved up to the next class alongside M3 and RS500 touring cars. Allegedly, it was quicker than the M3s but couldn't keep up with the 500s so instead of pouring more money into it, he bought a Porsche
