Default starting problems after 3 years since last start.

Engine cranks and turns over. Theres 9 litres of fuel in the tank. ! litre on my dirveway. Stumped.......

Thinking fuel pipes may be fit wrong? Need an answer to this question please.

Front of tank(rear of the car) fuel pump to metal hose, does this one go to the red or black plastic pipe(fuel accumulator)?

rear of tank (front of car) tank to rubber hose, to metal fuel pipe. From metal pipe to black or red plastic pipe(fuel metering head)

Fuel pump and fuel relay are both new, super unleaded petrol used. Oil in the engine no air leaks as engine hoses havent been touched. clips checked for tightness.

Battery charged, but on charge again.

When i did try to start car up several time the red plastic pipe blew of the rubber hose that connects to the metal pipe from the fuel pump. Could i have fit the 2 plastic pipes onto the wrong metal pipe

Gutted is an understatement been waiting 3 years to start the engine up, today comes and does work.

Pump should be to accumulator to filter then to metering unit, Both are black pipes.

Return should be metering unit to tank. This is the red plastic pipe.

This is what you get for ripping things off cars and forgetting what goes where......

Fella jack the car up and follow the lines to the accumulator.
The pipe from the pump will run to this.

The return from the metering unit will go back to the small pipe facing towards the front of the car with a low pressure connection (clips).
