Cams stage 3ported polished head, uprated pugs leads, airfilter,exhaust cossie management descent turbo stage3 T3 should be ok. Injectors fuel pump actuator descent intercooler and a gearbox to take the power s1or s2 boxes wont take that power.

There are many "stage3" heads sold that are crap. Just because someone took a grinder to the ports and fitted larger valves does not mean it will be good for 300 HP. Most likely it will be worse than a factory un-modified head.
Unless the stage 3 head had been done by a very reputable shop do not buy it.
The stage 3 T3 will not make 300 HP - maybe 270 flywheel HP at most.
Anyone that says their stage 3 T3 is making 300 HP is not being honest.

In my opinion, decent management, newman cam, gt28 if money permits or t34 turbo ported and polished head done by someone reputable as canada says, good set of injectors, decent fuel pump, grs or new airtec cooler good gearbox to handle the torque level a zvh produces good set of breaks to stop the bloody thing lol

take the 8 valve head off and fit the 16 valve head that came with the engine, with a set of better valve springs and you can get 350hp

i need some guidence lol, im running now

1600 cvh fiesta efi
lightened and balanced bottom end
forged pistons and steel rods
stage 3 head
t3 hybrid not sure what stage
-31 actuator
full front mount
alloy rad
samcos all round
lsd cvh rst box
beiges 701
bayjoo chip on OFAB
running 205.7 bhp and 186.9 lbs ft

i have ready a 2.1 zvh with all oil ways done water pump n sump ect, mondeo rods (ill need some steel rods???)
no crank?? which to use
escort cosworth forged pistons
an mfi head with bigger valves (no cam or pully)
OFAM ecu

never built an engine really so stuck, and what bits can i scavage off my efi??

what gearbox should i use (what car can i get one from)
clutch, flywheel??

never got one with it, and will i be able to just bolt a 16v head off a standard 2.0 mondeo engine?
does it go straight on no mods because of cvh conversion?

escort cosworth pistons are no good to you they wont fit in a zetec block.

why don't you change the injectors and run more boost in the CVH engine?? depending on the turbo spec

they came with the block, was a running engine.

think im just gonna go zvh n bolt my efi head on it , otherwise ill need new hoses too n other bits.

i thought zvh would be better?
wat injectors do i use? wat will OfAM make with better injectors and more boost? running 14 psi now?

zetec is your best bet, but if you have good pistons and rods in the cvh it will be able to make alot power with some more boost

If they're in the block then they are not Escort Cosworth pistons! They're about 10mm bigger in diameter from memory!!

If you have a steel CVH already and a big port head just get a cam, bigger turbo, bigger injectors and get it remapped with some decent boost. Your CVH should put out 300 easily enough.

No point in spending loads of money if you already have the engine to make the power in the car.

they have cosworth stamped under the piston?? what cosworth piston fits zetec block?

i wouldnt want to run 88mm pistons in a zetec . you will have very thin bores and only about 3mm between each bore
