Default zvh head gaskets

Please can some one help me i have a 2.0 zvh with standard pistons so i have a decomp plate and two 1.8 cvh gaskets as i have been told that i would be better using two gaskets and the decomp plate but my biggest problem is the oval part of the gasket that you are supost to use a o ring on were the oil hole is,the problem is that i dont like the idear of using a o ring on top of another oring!! So can anyone suggest a better way like just one gaset and plate or am i better with two gaskets and what sort of comp ratio would i be looking at with two and a decomp or 1 with decomp(I no the best way is just to do it right with proper pistons, etc but i need the car on the road asap and i have another block ready to start doing the right way when the funds are better. So please some one help me as i cant get a strait aswear anyware(From my mate GOOGLE haha)

Use 1 headgasket only! use a genuine ford one, then ring Ferriday engineering for a decomp plate, they will advise you on compression ratio once they know how thick your head etc is.....hope this helps.

Thanks mate i was not really keen on the two gaskets idea from the start.I take it that the decomp plate goes on the heads side of the gasket? and do you no what sealer it is you use?

The decomp plate sits on the block, then the headgasket sits on that, u dont need sealer just torque the head up as the instructions on the headbolts.

But you say you have a 2.0? If so the ferriday should be able too sort you out with a decomp plate as adam mentioned which should enable the use of standard zetec headgasket. You need too block off an oil gallery if wanting too use a zetec hg ive had too have my head welded so i can use one. but speak too ferriday very very helpful man

Will i get away with no sealer? av also been reading that if its an alloy decop plate you stick it to the head.I would rather put it on the block with no sealer if that would be 100%ok

Ohhh well thats her all done any way and running perfect, thanx for the help guys,The only problem that i had is the water oil cooler wont fit as the 2.0 oil pump sticks out more than the 1.8(that what he was before) so you cant get the filter on so i will just have to get a air cooled rad sorted out for the oil.
