Colour Change on S2
I am nearly finished welding my Escort shell so wont be far off before I start painting it.
Thing is do I stick with the original colour (red) or go imperial blue. I do really like imperial blue on the mk4 but Im also aiming for a standard look, spot lights, ambers, original wheels etc.
What is everyones thoughts on this, look wise and for resale value.
Cheers Peter

Standard. Gone are the days that changing to a non-standard colour looks good. IMO.

I have defiantly decided against imperial blue, it doesn't go with ambers.
I sprayed my supra gun metal grey so don't fancy that again.
Think I will stick with the standard red, suits the .mk4 and standard looks.
That was the earlier red wasn't it?

Haha, lots of mixed opinions, that doesn't help me decide. I did think about bmw carbon black.
I'm not planning to sell it but I like to keep in mind resale value. What would be worth more, standard colour or different.

looking at ebay and similar sites,It seems unless its mega spec then standard car's seem to appeal more.
A non original colour rs turbo does not appeal to me either but it's your car.
mine in black with ambers 88 spec
