13.4 @112 but had a few issues one of which seems we've pulled gearbox mounts apart which caused alternator to cut through bottom hose on rad and dumped all water in one go which gave gary a bit of a shock as he just hit brakes as he couldn't see where he was going and nearly hit wall as it slid on the water and as i lined up for first run of day(sat) they spotted something leaking from car so pushed me off and turned out that the core plug by dizzy had a pin hole in it so we superglued a piece of insulation tape over it then chemical metalled over that and held up rest of day and all the way home so best bodge we've done i think and on way hme we noticed that afr on idle was really lean so pulled into first petrol station expecting to see a vacum hose of but found that throttle body had some how come good 4mm adrift so we figured out were our boost leak was as would only make 1.6 bar so hopefully at classic might finally get there with a full working car and break the 12's

13.4 is still a spot on time considering every thing that went wrong mate! will be nice to see you in the 12's.
Rob,
PS, lol at your core plug bodge... why is it that a good bodge always feels much more rewarding?

Cossyking, was your fiesta green?
Rob, dunno what you mean! what answering?? lol cars still on link management. Its mapped properly now though and on siemen 55's lol Mark Shead did it all in the end. I don't really know what power its running. Its going back to Mark to adjust the cam timing on the dyno so will see how it does then.
RE: HT Howard, I read on your resto you used him for your machine work and figured from what an anal cooont you were that they would do for me! lol no offence meant it's a good thing. Also, I think they did some of Luca's engine machining and they do some machining for Mark (MAD) so seemed a credible bet and they did a good job for me. Really thorough bloke.

Haha lol, answering for the hour i spent drawling over your pics, whilst the mrs gave me an ear ache.... "rather be on fuck my ford (what she calls passionford) than talk to me" rahrah etc.
Jokes aside though, im not that easily impressed when it comes to machine shops, and HT Howards was cock on.

I think the surprise comes from the number of modified Orions vs Escorts, because there are so few Orions, its always a nice surprise to see one thats smashed it

1/4 mile beasty!!!!
Orion should hopefully be at classic ford with a new inlet, wastegate and back on megasquirt as when it ran at central day it was on ofab with my chip in it at about 20psi so if all goes to plan and we can get it mapped in time for around 28psi I think it should be hitting the low 12 mark!!
