2 yesrs and finally ready for mot
hi guys im just ready to take the erst for its first mot since 2008 ive been rebuild the bitch for over two years now ,highs and lows all the way tears and all lol ,but lets see what the mot says if its passes which i dont think it will im going to be looking for the following
1/ a good tuner in the northwest im think motorsports developement in blackpool all others welcome but i think these are the closes to me as im in bolton
2/ i want to put some alloys on the car but what are gear boxes light when your running 17 inch rimms on
3 what wheels you guys think suit the erst series 2 best
4/ what parts do you guys suggest for the service ie oil filters water pumps timeing belt ect ect
want to make sure shes right after all the hard work as gone into her p to now if you know what i mean

yes id say Motorsport Dev are the closest, and have a great rep,
id concentrate on getting it setup and mot'd before you start with wheels etc....
try use ford oem bits if you can, or stu at msd will point you in the rite direction

i ran around 240hp on 17"s with no problems, obviously the bigger and heavier the wheel will put strain, depends on the condition of your box/components lol.
ive ran all types of wheels on s2's, and personally i love the ride and look of the standard turbine rims, even when lowered they drive beutifull, 17s can give a hard ride dependant on your suspension setup, but look the nackers. 16s are a good compromise between looks,handling and ride.
