It might be a dumb question but ive been thinking about doing a zvh conversion to my series one im restoring ive got a 1.8 escort gti and was thinking of getting low comp pistons fitted but having it as a 2ltr or 2.1 so can it be done or better to get a 2ltr block?

a 1.8 block cannot be bored to 2.0 due to the waterways between the bores

for the price of a rebore and new pistons you could have a complete 2.0 engine. sell the 1.8 and your even
