hi to everyone & happy xmas
new 2 passionford getting back into rs turbos!
have 1987 grey series 2, 230bhp heavily moded & 1989 white series 2 240bhp heavily moded.
unfortunatly grey shell dreded rot so breaking next year
need advice on white rs havent started or driven for 5 years any suggestions of what to do before i turn engine over.
oh pls excuse my spelling slight dislexia prob.

Check plugs, oil, water and batt? What could go wrong? Turn crank by hand first?

Change oil and filter at least, then crank with the plugs out a few times to get the new oil round, then go for it!

i would stick some fresh petrol in aswell

hi welcome mate. as above fresh fuel, plugs, leads, battery and also check condition of timing belt incase its perished. dont want that snapping on you
