can anyone tell me what handbrake cable i need to use on my rear disc as my adjusters have broken i know its the rs2000 cable but when i ring up there so many different ones they list has anyone got a part number. i would use my reg but that wont work as mine a s2 an not rs2000 cheers

 

just tell them an RS2000 that has rear disc brakes. They can do the rest of the work as it aint that much more.

 

Its the early one 1993/4 one i think

 

mk5 fwd rs2000, got mine of ebay. used the banana bit of the S2 tho

 

the short cable from the handle to the half moon is the same part for rs turbo and rs2000. use the half moon off the rs turbo as the rs2000 item is too large and will heavily foul the body. then the rear section is early mk5 rs2000, i told the parts place 1993 model, and had no problems getting it
