Default Cracked block advice

My mate got a cracked block - was bought as a complete motor and when cleaned off this appaered so the motor has been completely stripped - is this repairable as it's a 90 spec ERST block which he's wanting. Preferable repairer in the North west, midlands

Or does anyone know of anybody with a block for sale on std bore?

many thanks in advance

I wouldn't bother repairing it, there was a thread regarding a similar issue.

I've got a block, I just need to strip it. I'm in blackpool

Just get a different block.
Cvh blocks are neither rare or expensive.

Yeah ive welded cast before, and it was fine but it was subject to the heat cycles that an engine block is... Just wondered thats all!
