It fits. I used the Escort mk5/6 PAS parts as well as the alternator with it's mountings.
The alternator was a very tight fit and needed a millimeter to be shaved from here and there to get a gap between the alternator and the radiator.

Thanks for the picture.
I know the CVH alternator set up solves the clearance issues at the radiator but not sure how the belt set up would go , or what size of belt to use plus the idler pulleys.
Stupid question lol but can you run a alternator from a car without power steering on a power steering set up?

Here's a few more pictures showing the alternator positioning in a mk3.

Special care should be made to make sure that the alternator can be removed without taking out the entire engine. You can notice that material has been removed from the alternator mount for that.

What is the alternator mount from and the power steering pump mount please? mk6 Escort Si/GTI??? ... and also what belt does it use?
What a great conversion, will no doubt be in demand on many peoples cars for modernising and tidying up the appearence. Its exactly what Ive been looking for and not yet found...
thanks
