Default fooking thing

i have recently had my car setup, if its been setup with an air leak and the air leak has now been sorted would this have an effect on the performance as it still has got the boost but it seems to be holding back.

Take it back to where it was set up - the question i would ask is why they didnt spot the leak in the first place when it was being set up???

if there was an air leak when the fuelling was setup, and now fixed, then it will probably be over fuelling now, so will have a lumpy map and power will be gained and lost at certain points.

all it was the boost hose that connects to throttle body wasnt tight so on boost all the pressure was leaking out of it, all is good now, going back to nms on tuesday to have clutch fitted and abit more power cant wait. it was loose as ive just had inlet manifold gasket changed by a local mechanic and he forgot to tighten it up,

So it was NMS who set the car up?
how was it spotted their was an air leak?

Prob wouldn't have noticed it on startup as that hose is fairly 'fitted' but on boost I reckon it would have been obvious....rich mixture/hissing?

see that's the prob with setting cars up on the road over RR, haven't got someone standing over the top of it to notice these things if the operator misses it from AFR....

it wasnt leaking when it was setup it been running perfect been to fordfair and driving it about quite abit alot on boost then all of a sudden whilst on boost the manifold gasket blew out. then the mechanic i took it never tightened that clip up which made me think it was setup with an air leak as i didnt know the clip was loose but its running fine now ive tightened the clip up.
