Efi how to calm the chatter
Before I took my cabrio back of the rd the chatter was starting to get on my nerves, so I re fitted the d/v, it then chattered and dumped, or sometimes 1 or the other at random.
Has anybody fitted a airbox from another model instead of a cone filter and did this quieten it down or stop it all together?
When I put the car back together I'm thinking of trying something like a rs2000 air box with a K&N panel filter, I also onder if this would help reduce act temps further?

Too many posts.. I need a life!!
Strange as this may sound what boost controller are you using, reason why I say. We had a car that came into work wid nlno chatter, we had to.change his controller for some reason I can't.remember why, now it chatters like fook. I asked my boss why and he said all depends on the controller used. Now I don't know weather thata just on a Porsche engine but I asume it may work for you

It Wasnt Me!
an airbox will shut it up!
I've machined an ali adaptor to fit inside an MFI rst airbox on my EFI setup and mate onto the silicone hose that comes from the turbo, just havent fitted it as I don't have an airbox to use atm.

Alreet conor, mine has a small mushroom filter directly on the end of the silicone hose where the metering unit was.
I like the chatter but I fancy it nice and quiet when its back on the rd.
(well as quiet as a turbo cab running a mongoose exhaust can be)

Just thinking out loud could you use the lower half of the airbox from a 3i and adapt it to suit as they mount to the same holes as the mfi metering unit
