air fuel very lean
Hi all,
my rs turbo CVH is converted to EFI, Ofab, with a 195 chip made for motorsport development maped to T3 turbo, beige injectors, intercooler. The car is suddenly making mixtures of air / fuel too lean.. mark the air/fuel gauge 10:1 when put foot on the accelerator. The fuel pressure is 3bar with 911 bosch fuel pump. The car heat up too much. If I speed up the background, still lean. the ECU does not accuse any sensors damaged. Help please
Sorry for my bad english

Yeah to me it seems that pitjardas you are reading the gauge wrong. Higher number means leaner and opposite. 14.7 is so called perfect ratio for economy IIRC and 12.7 is usually best for full power. With 10 you are probably even getting a little bit of black smoke when accelerating.

14.7 is the stoich ratio, so is the "perfect" burn in theory, but in reality you tend to find slightly leaner than that is optimum for economy.
Peak power depending on the engine can be anywhere from about 12.5 - 13.2 IME, but on a turbo I would never be that lean flat out, 11s and even 10s are where its at IMHO
