Default Miss fire

Got a problem that has got worse over last week. When I used set off my S2 used to miss for about 10 secs then drive fine. Now it is doing it all the time. I have no power and it makes a loud noise. Let it warm for a while this afternoon and noticed No.4 exhaust port was not warm. There was also a bit of oil around it. Can anyone help?

What noise is it making? Where is the niose from?

If its just mising on one cylinder then you need to be checking the plugs, leads, dizzy cap, compression. You mean the manifold was not warm Where was the oil

Yeah manifold was not warm. Oil could have come from rocker cover I suppose. Checked leads getting a spark.

Changed plugs and leads etc but still missing. Could it be the head gasket?

Head gasket, valve not sealing, or spark plug not firing in that cylinder. Could be the injector but that is unlikely. Have you checked compression?
