Is the oil pressure switch actually connected to anything...?

Either way, that wouldn't prevent it from starting.

Does it turn over on the starter? Is there a spark? Is there fuel?

There is a fuse that protects the instruments etc, but in any case it won't stop it from starting and prevent other ignition power items such as indicators, headlights etc from working, so most likely they have forgot to connect something!
