Its a little nicer to the clutch too, instead of a 6500k revlimit then slip the clutch back down to what ever rpm you had before, and i guess its a tiny bit kinder to your syncros and they are matching a smaller rpm differential.

I love flat shifts, my car shudders at the very thought lol

Im pretty sure ms1 could, an easy upgrade is an MS2 daughter board, and ms2extra code then you get launch control + more.

MS1 can, but upgrade to MS2 chip, much better control over injectors.

You won't be able to make full use of launch control and flat shift with the EDIS matey, if i remember correctly you can't spark cut with edis.

You would need some coil drivers, internal or external (i slightly favour external) and drive the ignition coil directly.

ah yes think your right! been a while since I've played with it to be honest. well if I need a ms2 board putting in may as well put the coil driver in too. reckon it'll cost much?

Depends who you get to do it mate. Last time i bought an MS2 board it was Ł90, the coil drivers will be cheap to add, probably around Ł20.
