Hi could anyone with a similarly specced engine give me a rough bhp estimate, its a 1.6, full exhaust system, k&n,big front intercooler, 10psi boost? Was sold it as having a piper cam also but I've had the cambelt cover off and its the standard rusty wheel as opposed to the alloy item, so i'd probably say it's not cammed, cheers

 

about 160-170 bhp..

 

id say about 165bhp. just bcos its got a rusty wheel doesnt mean its not been cammed. mine has a rusty wheel but i have a piper cam

 

make sure it does have a cam then get a nice chip in there with 14 psi of boost, u should see a nice 185 figure with a good setup

 

What is the easiest/quickest way to determine if it does have a cam?

 

ive got exactly the same mate, mines proven 158bhp...mines with a 2.5 bore straight thu, kn, dv, samcos, -31 set to spike at 11psi ish, and settle at 10.
