Once you know the grade you're after. I would recommend "millers" oil. Top stuff.

Im probably the only one on here to have the oil tested after a Topspeed run. All oils will be OK . Silkolene had zero % metal & a very low fuel % the other oil tested had low levels of metal (wear) & a very high % of fuel in the sump. It was also out of Spec after just 2 runs.
I was surprised at what worked best as it was the thinest but it was explained that the aim was to lubricate the engine get very hot & burn off the fuel, not to use less oil .
My test made both Mark & Mike R change the oil they recommend.

IIRC it was Rob yes.
As per the sticky I run Silkolene (Fuchs, Titan) 10w50 Pro S.

Cool, i've had problems with mobile 1 in my old 328, stank of petrol, and burnt a fair bit (like half a pint every 1000 miles) im using castrol edge in it now and it doesn't use a drop/stays clean for ages.

I use Silkolene in the rs, (halfords cheap as chips mineral at the moment though).

Same here.

I also run it (in 5w30) in my mk4 Astra GSi Turbo. I'll be going up to 10w40 in that next service though.
