hi, just finsihed putting my s2 turbo back together after a full engine rebuild, the thing is when i start it from cold it just wont rev, it will idle fine but u can put the pedal to the floor and the revs rise to about 2k very slowly and thats it!.

After about 2 mins of this idle it will then rev up fine, it doesnt miss fire and idles smooth, i havent drove it yet only been started a few times, ive put running in oil in it at the moment, everything is connected as it should be, i was wondering if its any thing to do with the fuel its been in the tank since october wondering if its gone off or something,

any help or susgestions would be handy thanks

What a bugger mate hope mine has no probs should not be long now droped last bits off today alan said about 2 weeks but we no what his 2 weeks are like

got it going now mate, the timing was well out, put it on the road feels ok a few problems to sort out water pump is making a funny noise think the cambelt is to tight!, and also it gets hot with that grs on now!.
