Default Need advice...

Went to view an G reg (1989) s2 Escort RS Turbo in white, 77K on the clock, starts up on the button, no smoke it took about 10 mins to warm up.
Had a look around for rust and found them in the usual places, little bit on the sun roof, and on the front of the engine thingy u know im on about! had a patch welded near the spare tyre in the boot, just had tiny bubbles around some of the arches all tiny nothing major.

When warmed up, the revs would sit about jst over 1k on idle

i think i could get it off him 4 2 grand, Does this seem right?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...527368176&rd=1

Wot ya think?

Could have it by nxt weekend, need to get a loan out first!

Cheers

Na its looking in and on the right!

didnt take the bodykit off i.e the arches but i take it that there more than likey to have rust on them? Its got 10months MOT left and the bloke said it passed no problem, also it has the orignal battery tray, has rust but gave it a got wiggle and it was soild.

Anybody got any tips on how to "haggle" with him to get the price down? i said i would phone him some time nxt week and make an offer
