Default pipe from ecu??

hi peeps, on my s2 the small vac? Pipe from the ecu doesnt go anywhere and isnt blocked off, would i be right to assume it should go to the valve on top of the gearbox?, and would it have been removed for a valid reason?, your help would be appreciated, Steve

Yes that would be exactly why it had a hole in the piston when you got it!

For god's sake when you have it back together and working take it to someone who knows what they are doing to check the fuelling over.

On the plus side I find my holed piston a great paperweight at the office and it's a good talking point with people who think by checking their own tyre pressures they are a dab hand with cars
