cam = dis position so check again wot you have done to be sure ,also is your test lamp good ? you say timing mark dos not move if you move diz ?but dos the engine run better as you move it one way or other , also oil pressure you have none? your engine is CVH yes?

its not uncommon for an oil guage to be faulty but i would myself try a different guage to be sure as you dont want to run it for long time if it actually has no pressure, as has been said i think your cam timing may be out slightly if your dizzy will not bring the timing in to the correct point, its definatley worth a double check before you go any further mate

can i fit a oil temperature gauge to replace the oil pressure gauge only to see if it is the gauge who have a fault or the sender unit
??

CHAZ888 :
set crank at tdc on comp stroke no1 remember no valves will be moving on this pot then set cam and diz check diz rotor arm is on or near to ht leed no 1 on diz cap position this is your basic set-up

do you mean : i have to take off the belt an take out the plug on cylinder1 and make the cylinder to the PMH ( i have to take off the cylinder head ??? )
restart all the story pfuiiiiiii

yes fit new guage and sender to check readings
i dont mean remove head i mean check the belt timing, fit your timing disk, set piston at top dead center at number 1 cylinder and check to see if your camshaft timing is correct according to the cam manufacturers tolerance
