yep bled the system for ages, circulates nice to begin with, engine is quiet when running just needs a new cam as it worn, was fine till the cooler was fitted

check the front mounted cooler aint kinking any of the rad hoses, have you still got the water feed on the turbo, as the added capacaty of the cooler might cook the turbo up quicker which may therfor boil the water running through it

where are the fans mounted?

on the rad or on the cooler?

You might be now finding that if the fans are on the cooler that you rad isn't coping (not enough air flow) this could also be a sign of a rad thats shot, especially if its not cooling with the rads on constant.

regarding the turbo water feed being connected - mine is still connected and I don't have issues with temps rising.

i was told by ian from powers that if the turbo starts glowing that its a good sign that it could do with a setup.

sure timing along with other things can cause more heat, especilly when driven hard.

also get a stat back in their! never ran one in mine for a while and as their is nothing restricting the flow of water it dosnt cool properly and also causes hot spots.

only going of advice that i was given but i defo helped when i put a stat back in !

hope that helps

Regards John

fan is blowing onto rad so is going the right way, unless the head is fooked i cant think of another reason why as the system is pressurising, when i let the air back out it runs nice and cool again. Maybe time to lose the cvh and join the zetec t crowd

Did you have the head pressure tested and skimmed when the head gasket was replaced?

Why are you hitting full boost when you fitted new shells so recently?
