Rs turbo wont start

Default Rs turbo wont start

RIGHT JUST GOT MY MATES RS TURBO CABBY WHICH WAS RUNNING FINE BUT HAS BEEN OFF ROAD ABOUT 2YRS AND LEFT IN HIS GARAGE.
AND NOW WILL NOT START.
HAVE CHANGED PLUGS CHECKED THAT THERES A SPARK AND IS VERY HEALTHY SPARK. PETROL DIDNT SMELL GREAT BUT DID PUT SOME FRESH IN. SHOULD I OFF DRAINNED IT ALL?? AS IT PROB MAY OF GONE STALE.
CAR IS FITTED WITH AN ALARM AND IMMOBLISER BUT ALL SEEMS TO BE WORKING DISARMING ETC. FUEL PUMP DOES KICK IN WHEN SWITCH IGNITION ON AND THE METERING HEAD SEEMS TO BE WORKIN OK DID TRY STARTING WITH METERING HEAD OPEN SLIGHTYLY. BUT CAR ISNT EVEN ATTEMPTING TO START COUGH SPLUTTER ANYTHING.
NEVER HAD AN RST BEFORE WHO CAN SUGGEST ANYTHING AS IM LOST

I'd put a multimeter on the pump just to make sure it's getting 12v first. Mine did the same. Wiring degrades over time.

may need air flow meter mate try pressing plunger disc down under air filter whilst some one cranks car over . also make sure fuel filter aint blocked with shit ,

Check fuel is coming out injectors, need to take them out, get someone to crank it over whilst pressing the metering flap down OR bridge the fuel pump so it runs permanently and push flap down whilst checking injectors. Other alternative is fuel pressure is low and fuel isn't coming out the injectors, needs to be something like 5.5-6bar.
