Default GRS or Pro Alloy FMIC?

I am looking at buying either a GRS or a Pro Alloy front mount intercooler and ally radiator for my s2 zetec turbo project, but on a lot of the s2's i've seen the bonnet catch seems to hit the top of the GRS coolers and dent it, is this a common thing?

Cheers Jono.

im sure all issues have been ironed out now

would say it really depends on how far tuned your engine is

i use to run the pro alloy (off the shelf) intercooler and it didnt like big boost

got a custom one off them now and its awesome

i think the grs will take pretty much what ever you can throw at it

Pro Alloy coolers don't like anything over 18 psi.

GRS's work fantastic.

I ran a GRS EVO 3 on my old beantin and it was fine with the bonnet catch, also made a MASSIVE difference to ACT that I was seeing with the standard IC and a Stage 1 Turbosystems chip.

Cheers,
Grant

Mate i have an airtec one on my series 2 and for the price i have found it to be a great intercooler and so have a few others. I know you are looking at the other two but if cost is maybe an issue then it is worth a look,

Cheers adam

just to get the air in around the brakes TBh , the bumper is wide open as well to let all the air hit the Intercooler.

The intercooler was made to order

Ignore the pic in my sig as this was taken way before i had my cooler fitted
