Surely they will be the 60mm ones then if they are the same code?
If they are 60mm I would bin them.

this is what i am trying to get at they dont make 60mm springs by apex for the rst only the 3i and base models, so an rst wouldnt sit at 60mm it would be more like 35mm-40mm correct as the suspension set up is different on a rst??? I normally go for pi springs which are 35mm and they sit nice as did the chassis dynamics 25mm but they dont make the chassis dynamics anymore!!! i certainly wouldn't be going any lower than 35mm-40mm as i know how much they suffer with handling, speed bumps etc etc

ahh I see what you mean now.
I thought it was the 3i and rs models that were an inch lower than the other mk3/4 models?
I'm not sure what the difference would equate too in size drop? I dont know whether it is the set up or the stock rst springs that give the std lower ride height.

I can see why you are questioning it now. its got me confused!

Pi make 25mm and 35mm lower springs for an rs turbo fitment so they will drop exactly that.
as for apex 60mm they will be roughly 15mm difference from a standard escort to a rs turbo so 45mm is realistic,
Try the PI springs mate as they make for a whole host of companies including cobra springs.

try th apex rear sprngs on first and see what you think of the ride height as you never know they may not be that low, and apex i have heard they are very good springs too.
