ok as far as i can see my sunroof is rusting and isnt opening due to sticking to the inner sking it does open but after a while sticks again!

so my questions are can i get a replacement sunroof? preferably new or am i better repairing it if it isnt too bad?

and how do i get in about clearing the rust off the roof before it causes me hassle as looks to me like my roof is in pretty good nick!

ill add pics at weekend if i can manage!

Ford still supply the sunroof if you want a new one.Will cost a bit tho.

i got a scraped s2 at home with a mint sunroof. as for how much nd how to get it to u i dunno as post and packaging is a mystery as im from the south of ireland. if ur interested ill look into it. pm me

No you cut your existing roof out.

What cut the whole roof off? Leave 30mm all round to bond the carbon to maybe?

thats what i thought fortunately my roof is fine for now im just worried about the future its the actually sunroof its self im needing replaced!

Yeah leave a small area to bond the carbon replacemnt to. 520 all out. waiting to go pick mine up.

have you taken the headlining out and had a look at the sunroof tray? They rust, then it stops the sunroof from moving

just peeked inside the sunroof!

im terrified to take of the rook lining after just repairing the battery tray fusebox tray and the floor! dont know how i would go about doing the roof!

Mine looked good from the top, but was rusty under the headlining, did try repairing but in the end I cut the roof skin off and will be ordering a carbon roof
