Default Compbrake pedal box question

Hi all, i was thinking about fitting a compbrake pedal box in place of the servo.

i just wanted to know if the piping to the brakes and fitment of the bias switch inside the car is fairly straight forward? the fitment of the actual pedal box looks simple as it just replaces the original servo/master but was wondering about the rest. also do you just blank off the vacuum in the inlet from the original servo?

cheers for any help

The bias adjuster is just a long cable with a knob on it you can mount inside. I'm not using an in car adjuster though.

You will have to re pipe the brakes so the fronts run off the one cylinder (the smaller .625) and the rears of the other (larger .75) but this is just done through some T peices.

They are mounted directly on the reservoirs now without the lines. I'm going to see if I can keep them there.

Not sure, I haven't used it yet I can imagine pedal feel will be horrendous though.

I think i might be being abit thick here but have you got any pictures handy of how the reservoirs are at the minute because surely if there mounted on the top of the cylinders you dont have anywhere to run the lines from or am i missing sumthing ?

Youre missing something,XR.The connection at the back of the cylinder is where the brake fluid enters. So theres no problem connecting the reservoirs directly on top of the cylinder.

There's a picture in my gallery. I'm on my phone at the moment to gt get a pic just yet. The front connectors on each cylinder are fed by the reservoirs and the rear connctors to to T peices for the front and rear brakes.

Right i get you now i was being abit thick lol the front connections are for the reservoirs then you just have a single line for the front and a single line for the rear t'd off for each corner
