no probs if you buy valve springs from area six ian also does a shim to go on top of the spring to add extra force if u want to run big boost

just remembered make sure you change the crank pully back to a zetec one as there is one less tooth on a cvh crank pully and ull bend all your valves

what about the water pump and hoses ?

Also does the zetec head still require a cam sensor? like the cvh head does?

cheers

You'll have to check the compression ratio as well as the combustion chambers on a CVH head are bigger than a Zetec so if the compression ratio is already highish for a ZVH set up, it will be too high for a zetec turbo. Alot of people had this problem when they started using Acrilite pistons for ZT use as they were origonally designed for ZVH use.

For ZVH you should really use the early C20XE pistons which are N/A pistons, but high quality pressure cast Mahles. Can take 5-600 BHP. The serial number on the bottoms starts 86P

C20LET turbo pistons (also pressure cast Mahles) are better for Zetec Turbo as the compression ratio is better. LET pistons in a ZVH usually gives too low compression which makes it laggy.

Rather than starting a new thread, I thought i'd continue this one.

Currently I have a zvh and going zetec,

I have the adapter plates for the exhaust/inlet.
have a fiesta inlet
pectal management.

What other bits are required?
*what water pump/from which model (2.0 zt)
*what oil pump?
* Pectal has a coil pack, can i bolt this straight onto the zetec head?
* any issues with water pipes and re routing them?
* am I right in thinking the st170 headgasket is fine?
* Will any oil pipes require changing?

Cheers guys

just food for thought mate. Keep us posted on your progress and if you need any help just holla
