The coiloverkits that you can buy to the S2. Can you fit them bolt on or do we have to modify anything on our cars?

It's advised that you stitch weld the rear turrets for strength but Tony at 909 as been rallying his RS1600i for rears with no welding and he's had no problems using only a strut brace.

I got a set of leda and the rear turrents are no where near big enough
What do you mean they not big enough? Doesent the coilover fits inside it? What have you done to fit thes then?

When I looked at Scott's (Blunt.RS) It appeared his had Mk3 fiesta front strut tops fitted to the rear shocks. I can only think the previous owner had modified his rear turrets to accept these as it was a proper rally car.
Scott, you need to get onto Gaz and order some of their top hats. They will fit then.

I might take you up on borrowing a set of springs actually, Scott. What spring rates do you have? I was thinking about trying something around 270-300 LBS just to see how the back end performs. I've got more track on the rear now due to the bell & rota set up so my arches will be rubbing no doubt.

Old thread I know chaps so I apologise. But just wondered if you'd ever pinned down what the best spring rates were for your front and rears on the Gaz Muz? I'm due to be ordering some soon and would be handy to know what you ended up with ![Wink](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)
I'm thinking 280lbs on the front and it's the rear in struggling to pin down...
