Instead of making them just remove them off a non ABS car, saves lots of money and effort for nothing.

Hi anvini the small male nut is M10 x1 size and the other is M12x1 both will be for 3/16 brake pipe, just pop to your local motor factors they should have them in stock.
Hope this helps

alternativly you can just re-use the nuts mate unless you need extra ones? Are you going to blank off the feeds to the abs or change the resevoir?

Hi

Many many thanks for the info mate!!!
Yesterday, a friend told me that the size of smaller male nut is M10x1 so I needed to know the bigger one, I though that would be in Metric too.
I have just look for buy them but seems to be 2 types of M10x1 male nuts, LONG and SHORT.
I must buy the SHORT??

Hi

Yes I know nuts are reusable but I don´t want to break the older abs system, only replace them.
I will change the reservoir with non abs type.
This is ref. number which is on the FORD reservoir 81 AB 2K 478

whenever i remove the abs, i just use the original pipes, you can re shape them by the gear linkage and join them back together, just need to put one new end on!!

No. When removing the ABS system properly. You need to remove the compensators from the rear, and fit some to the front inner wing.

Mine looks like it has had this done, I guess so they are no longer active and always distribute less breaking force to the rear?

No, different design and has many issues in itself without the aid of big wheels and suspension changed.

The ones fitted to the front are the same as what an RS16i, S1, and non ABS car would have from factory. Just fit these and its done.
