Default Replacing front panel

Going to be stripping down my escort for paint soon, ordered a new front panel as mine has a few holes in it, does anyone have any pictures of one being removed and fitted, for a bit of help, cheers.

Why replace the whole lot? Why not cut out the rust and weld in new bits?

It would be like a patchwork quilt as there is a fair amount gone through already plus i already have the panel waiting

if its just rotten around the bumper mounts i wouldnt remove the hole panel as you will struggle to get the lines back to how good they are originally with the headlights and wings etc... look at my resto to see how i did mine.

This is how i did mine

granted i was fitting a new cross member at the same time but i left the main body of the panel in place then re-welded the new bits in across the bend of the panel as its easier to blend the welds in.

all fitted and painted.

mark.

I cut out and patched mine also. Much easier than replacing the whole lot.
