zetec turbo temp sender problem

Default zetec turbo temp sender problem

where the hell does it go, its the one for the gauge on the dash. do people drill and tap the head to use the cvh sensor or is there another way. can some one help as i have had enough of serching.

if you remove the coil pack bracket you can drill and tap the head there as there is plenty of meat

yes mate if you remove the stat housing you can feal how thick this part of the head is and the temp sensor will sit in the water way

When i put the zetec engine in my estate i swear there was one on the front of the head to the right hand side of the exhaust manifold. I think thats where i had mine and the dash gauge worked properly.

no mate not on a zetec. you mite be confusing it with the temp sender for the ecu that sits in the stat housing on a zetec??

You should of fitted a CVH thermostat housing to it so you had the fan switch and then drilled this for the sender.

Now you need to drill the head, but id still rather fit an inline sender on one of the water ways.
