I can't understand how you can't afford £200 for a sensor but considering spending anywhere from £500 to 2k on an engine management swap and/plus mapping!
i can sell what bits i dont need and save the rest

No "payday" loan is worth it. Try waiting for actual payday...
You symptoms are exactly like when my OFAC setup unknowingly had the the OFAB map sensor. As a bodge to get my car from one garage to another, I ran it with the XR2i map sensor.
It didn't like it, and you should keep it off boost (take the actuator off?), but it can be driven like that.

does any body have a make and part number for the one from allparts as they cant find it they have a few listed but cant tell me if its ofac/ofab
